Caring for your piece

9ct gold won't tarnish or lose its colour, so it's made for everyday wear. Take it off for swimming pools and hot tubs, as chlorine can weaken gold over time. Clean it in warm soapy water with a soft brush.

Hollow pieces: take them off to sleep and for sport, and avoid knocks, as hollow gold can dent if it's crushed.
